What an exciting couple of weeks we’ve had here at The Green House! I’ve been wanting to share this reveal with you since we started this project 15 months ago…
When we bought this house, we loved her bones, but she was in desperate need of a paint job—and then somehow it got even worse… Add the various materials of a porch addition and replaced siding here and there, and we were quickly winning the trophy for worst looking house on the block.
You got a sneak peak of our house color when we build the carport and woodshop, but now we get to reveal our freshly painted home.
Here she is BEFORE:
And here she is NOW:
I just couldn’t wait to share–this has been such an exciting process! As you’ve seen in snapshots, our crew has been making plenty of beautiful progress inside our home, but this is our first major exterior improvement. It is definitely a “progress pic” because we still have quite a ways to go on our plans. Outside, we still need to install light fixtures, gutters, screen for the side porch, stain on the exterior doors, pave the driveway, and add new fencing and landscaping.
So let’s see that again…..
